The question is not whether Americans get health care or not, emergancy rooms are required to take in everyone and we pay for it already. The question is whether people get treated early and cheaply rather than waiting until it is life threatening and expensive. I, personally, would rather that my taxes pay for someone to have a cough looked at by a doctor than pnumonia looked at in an emergancy rooms, but then I am a liberal, I pay my fair share of taxes.

Look at it this way, do you really want the guy making your burger at McDonald’s being sick and coughing on your food? Wouldn’t it be better for you and your kids if he could see a doctor?

For the protection of innocent parties and property the insurance is required.

You can choose not to own a car and not to drive. If you have a car, and no insurance you can have your privilege revoked.

Under her plan, one would have to expect some people to not choose to remain alive and if they chose to live without insurance, what will she do, revoke their lives?
